Good questions. A clear next step.

Who is OptiLIGHT for?

The U.S. indication covers adults 22 and older with moderate to severe MGD-related dry eye and Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV. A clinician must assess eligibility.

Does it replace my current treatment?

OptiLIGHT is used alongside other therapies, such as artificial tears, warm compresses, and meibomian gland expression.

What should I know about treatment?

Protective eyewear is required. Temporary redness can occur; other risks include discomfort, burns, pigment changes, and scarring. Discuss risks, medications, and medical history with your clinician.
